I have released a new open-source database framework called PuzzleDB today. PuzzleDB aims to be a high-performance, distributed, cloud-native, multi-API, multi-model database. The Technology Preview version is developed in the Go language.
PuzzleDB is a multi-data model, multi-API, distributed, and cloud-native database that supports key-value, relational, and document models. It is compatible with popular database protocols, such as MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB. Developers can use PuzzleDB without a learning curve, as it supports existing query protocols. PuzzleDB offers flexibility, scalability, facility, safety, and efficiency through its plugin architecture and pluggable modules for queries, data models, storage, and more. To simplify application migration, PuzzleDB supports major database model and protocol plugin modules.
